Tabor Research is pleased to announce the formation of the HPC User Views Advisory Council. By regularly providing their thoughts on HPC trends, this leading group of HPC users will have the opportunity to steer HPC development.

Council members will be asked to participate in a variety of surveys, including descriptions of their current installations, budget distributions, and forward-looking preferences. Advisory Council members should expect to participate in two to three surveys per quarter. In all cases, results will be aggregated, and individuals will not be associated with their specific responses.

In recognition of their participation, Tabor Research will provide members of the User Views Advisory Council with access to all Tabor Research data and reports, as well as inquiry time with our HPC analysts. Advisory Council members will also receive invitations to exclusive events.

Tabor Research respects the positions of our members and will protect your anonymity if desired. For those who wish to promote their involvement, we will publish a list of those members whose participation is public, and we will offer a logo that can be placed on members' web sites. We will also feature many of the Advisory Council members with user site profiles on the Tabor Research web site.

Tabor Research will invite members to join the council based on two factors:

• willingness to participate in ongoing research studies, and
• forming a Council that is demographically representative of the HPC industry.
